PREVIOUS YEARS

The Drive for Diabetes Charity Golf Event was founded in 2006 through the vision and support of MPTN Chairman Rodney Butler and Councilor Richard E. Sebastian.

Our goal is to raise and distribute funds that support the efforts of finding a cure for Diabetes. Funds will be distributed on an annual basis to designated nationally recognized charitable organizations. In its first five years, Drive for Diabetes has raised over $500,000. Prior year recipients include the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF); American Diabetes Association (ADA); and Joslin Diabetes Center.
